Two Archibald Prathers

It has long been a source of frustration to Prather researchers that, as well documented as Archibald and Sarah Prather are, no one is certain of who his parents were. Years ago, I received a hint that there were, in reality, two Archibald Prathers. It has taken some time to confirm this but I now believe I have solved the mystery.

It all traces back to Jonathan Prater [5888] and the descendants of two of his sons.

The above is sure to cause a lot of controversy. The problem is that the two men have been run together so much that it will be difficult to seperate which man did what in the Revolutionary war and in the settling of Kentucky. But for me, I am satisfied -- until proven wrong!
